Good News Clubs are a primary means of discipling children, but when pre-teens and teens age out of the GNC©, we want them to continue growing in their walk with Christ, being involved in local churches and developing a missionary vision. The JYC – Youth Challenge is an outreach opportunity for the local churches to provide for ongoing Discipleship The focus of Youth Challenge is knowing Christ, living for Him and serving Him. Teens immerse themselves in God’s Word through a five-year curriculum. The JYC™ clubs meet each week, after school for 1.5 hours and include Bible teaching, singing, Scripture memorization, games, missions and other activities. But beyond regular meetings, special events are encouraged by each JYC team to include missionary outreaches throughout the year that put the “feet” on the teens learning, providing a practical application of serving where God has placed them.
